Line drawing/Handwriting: $10 per square inch
Floral Details: $30 per square inch
Pet Portrait Line Drawing: $80 per square inch (includes complementary digital pencil drawing)
Full color details: starting at $50 per square inch
Full color Pet Portrait: starting at $200 per square inch

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I place an order?
I open my commissions several times a year, usually via my mailing list. If you’re interested in commissioning a piece, please join my mailing list (sign-up below) to be alerted when I’m open again (check your spam folder for the “Welcome” email after you sign up!). If you have any questions about my pieces, please feel free to email me at any time!

Do you also provide the clothing?
All clothing is provided by the clients! In our first consultation together, I’ll talk with you about what kind of clothing you’d like to embroider and make suggestions about what works best and what brands I trust. You have the option of either mailing your clothing to me or placing an order for a new piece of clothing and shipping it directly to my address.

What clothing can you embroider?
In general, non-stretchy heavier-weight fabrics (cotton, linen, denim, etc) work best. For sweaters, cotton, cotton blends, cashmere, and cashmere blends work well. Lighter weight stretchy fabrics (like t-shirts) are generally not recommended. If you’re not sure about a piece of clothing, feel free to send me an email at grumpydogdesigns@kendallkulper.com and ask! I have successfully stitched on a variety of sweaters, hats, shirt collars, tea towels, aprons, neckties, and jumpsuits, and I am happy to take on a new challenge!

Can I do this myself?
Sure! I love encouraging people to try embroidering! You can visit my Instruction page to learn how to get instruction from me or my Patterns page for help creating your own stick-and-stitch patterns!
