Soak up the sunshine and relax with some floral embroidery in this one-day workshop! Every student will get their own embroidery kit with everything you need to stitch a simple but beautiful embroidered floral design—all you have to bring is your lunch! No previous embroidery knowledge needed.

Create and Stitch Your Own Embroidery Pattern
Saturday, Aug. 8, 12 - 4pm

Learn how to turn photos or drawings into embroidery patterns, plus a simple stitch to bring them to life! Perfect for total beginners or embroidery experts looking to learn a new skill, this one-day workshop will go over the basics of embroidery pattern making based on photos or drawings. Instructor Kendall Kulper will work with students ahead of time to select the right image, help each student create their own pattern, and finally teach a simple line stitch to transform each pattern into embroidered art.

Craftivism! Protest Embroidery

Join the movement of crafting activists, learn a therapeutic new skill, and create your own embroidered protest art in this one-day workshop! Perfect for all levels of embroiderers, from total beginners to embroidery experts, this workshop will cover the basics of craftivism and how to create your own protest design and finish off with some simple stitches so you can share your message with the world.
